Atul Kumar is Vice President of Product and AI at eHealth, a leading private online health insurance marketplace that helps consumers confidently navigate their health benefit decisions. In this role, Atul helps lead eHealth’s product, technology, and AI teams, with a focus on improving customer experience and driving digital transformation at scale.     

Atul is a seasoned product executive and AI innovator with over 25 years of experience building transformative products and large language model (LLM) workflows across big tech, growth-stage companies and start-ups. He joined eHealth in 2020 and helped establish the company’s AI Center of Excellence, which is focused on delivering LLM-powered voice agents, copilots and workflows that enhance consumer experience, increase revenue, and achieve operational efficiencies. Before that, he held various technology leadership roles at leading technology companies, including Google and Oracle.  

He holds a Ph.D. in materials science from the University of Cambridge, UK.
